Pooh Bear and Piglet - Moonlit Stroll

Okay so I've loved Winnie the Pooh since I was a kid, I own the original novels from AA Milner and loved the illustrations so I made one of my own. Here is Pooh and Piglet taking a moonlit stroll. 


Story: 


One night Piglet had woken from a bad nightmare. He was terrified beyond belief, he knew that he was not going to be able to go back to sleep. He got out of bed and reached for his scarf and wrapped it around his neck. He reached for the door knob and twisted it and then began to walk through the thick snow. Being a small animal as himself it was hard to push through such thick snow. He was thankful that Pooh's house wasn't far off. 

By the time he had reached Pooh's house, the moon was centering the sky, causing the snow to glisten like tiny diamonds. He saw the old bronze bell that hung above the sign that read "Mr. Sanders" He reached the rope of the bell and grabbed hold of it. He tugged down and the bell jingled, but the rope ranked upward causing him to fly into the air. He yelps and dangles from the rope, his legs kicking and swaying. "P...P...Pooh!" Cried out Piglet as then Pooh opened the wooden door, a toy gun with a cork stuck inside the barrel at hand as he looks about him.

"Who's there?" Pooh asked, pointing his toy left, the right. 

"Pooh up here!" Cried Piglet trying to hold onto the rope for dear life. ""Please let me down!" 

"Oh hello Piglet!" Cried Pooh in surprise hiding the gun behind his back. He walked towards his bell, then reached out his arms. "Jump into my arms and I'll catch you," 

"Are you sure?" Piglet whimpered holding onto the rope, not quite ready to let go of it yet. 

"When have I not been sure Piglet?" Inquired Pooh, still holding out his arms. 

Piglet took a deep breath, then let go of the rope, and plopped into Pooh's arms. 

"There we go," Said Pooh with a smile upon his face. "Now, why are you here at this hour Piglet, you should be in bed!" 

"Well, Pooh I had a bad dream, and n..n...needed to see you," Piglet said fidgeting with his scarf as he sniffled. 

"Oh, a bad dream?" Pooh asked. "Do tell," He said wrapping his arm around Piglet, and together they both began to walk towards the horizon, the full moon basking them in its silver light watching over them as piglet went onto discuss his bad dream.
